A tribute to the long tradition of National Geographic explorations and narrations, the Vans x National Geographic Classic Slip-On have been designed to draw attention to the drastic reduction of the ice caps in Greenland and Antarctica. The Then / Now Glacier style features National Geographic photographs depicting the Pine Island glacier in Antarctica, before and after the melting of the ice. The shoes have a sturdy and practical upper in organic cotton canvas with a low profile, padded collar, side elastic inserts and the original waffle rubber sole.
